St. Barbara’s Cathedral

The Kutná Hora vineyards

The educational wine trail is less than 6 km long and is the first of its kind in Bohemia. The marked cycle route connects the historical centre of Kutná Hora with a seven-hectare vineyard under the Sukov hill.

The Vrchlice Valley

On this trail you will find a lot of rocks, waterfalls, beautiful nature, but also ruins of old mills and forts. The area is known for its protected species of plants and animals.

Menhirs

The circle of huge stones can be found near the road to Kaňkov. Here you can roast marshmallows, contemplate and admire the magnificent view of the wide surroundings.

Where to go for silver?

Museum of Silver

The museum in Hrádek presents the whole process of minting the coin. Guides will introduce you to the medieval method of mining, the processing of raw silver and the technology of minting.

Italian court

The local Royal Mint hides 160 coins minted in the Kutná Hora mint. Try stamping your own groschen here, take a look inside the royal palace or see the unique Art Nouveau painting.

In the summer months, the whole family will appreciate the Kutná Hora swimming pool with pools, water slides and refreshments, while in the winter you can visit the adjacent indoor swimming pool for adults and children.

Just behind the swimming pool you will find another entertainment centre: the longest bobsleigh track in Bohemia and a go-kart hall.
